is located only about fifteen minutes north of Guntersville, and plays home to the world’s largest cave entrance, the largest frozen waterfall, and the world’s largest stalagmite and stalagmite forest. The Gunstersville Recreation Department provides its residents with an Olympic sized swimming pool, lighted tennis courts, softball and baseball fields, a gym and meeting room, as well as parks, playgrounds, walking and hiking trails, and a lighted bike trail. In addition to the two state parks located in and around Guntersville there are city parks which provide over one hundred and seventy five acres along the
