Introduction
Coming from Eastern Turkey, the Mediterranean Coast might come as a shock. Prices will be in Deutsch Marks and as a consequence everything can be much more expensive.
Still, the coast has some sights not to be missed. The region around Kas is quite nice with good excursion possibilities, there is the marvellous (though very crowded) beach at Fethiye, one of the most beautiful beaches I ever saw, and then there is of course Ephese with closeby Pamukka
le and Aphrodisias. I also included Antakya, although it's not on the coast.
